We're currently watching The Americans on Lightbox. Here's the blurb: "Secrets can be deadly in this suspenseful thriller about undercover Russian spies in 1980s Washington, D.C. Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell) seem to be a typical suburban couple, but they're actually lethal KGB agents plotting to bring down America. As the Cold War escalates, Philip and Elizabeth must take extreme measures to continue their mission and keep their true identities hidden. But when an FBI agent moves in across the street, they become ensnared in a pulse-pounding game of cat and mouse."
We're on season 3 now, and I'm really enjoying this drama. I like the fact that it's about a couple, and I think their relationship is very well portrayed. They work well together, and they're not constantly bickering. Maybe a little more now that they've told their daughter about their real identity, and I admit that's being drawn out a little - I'd have preferred them to sit down and explain to the girl why they've made the decisions they have, and tell her more about their cause, than for them to just leave her to deal with it. But it's good drama, great escapism, and highly recommended!
